I recently took a trip to a shopping outlet and was bombarded with xmas music the entire time. This offends, shocks, and appalls me very much. Thanksgiving, and in particular Thanksgiving Music is being repressed and overshadowed. Please post your favorite seasonally appropriate Thanksgiving Music and Turkey Fryer Fails to help spread the holiday cheer. Thanks!

from my personal collection of ‘Oops we done fucked up’

we were smoking a turnkey in my cousins back yard. My cousin left to do some errands and my friend and I were supervising the turkey. We would add some wood chips then go play a round of GTA and go back to check. Well after a round we went out back to find a portion of the lawn on fire, with our entire suply of wood chips engulfed. After putting out the fire, we decided not to run and hide and tried to salvage the turkey. It ended up being really good. the flash fire seared the skin which held all the juices inside. It did have a strong smoke flavor but it was one of the juiciest turkeys i’ve even eaten.

I also anticipate my wife going into labor on thanksgiving, which is my favorite holiday.....

Ooh this just reminded me that I have a propane fryer in my attic that hasn’t been used in years. Time to get that baby out of storage!

A thousand stars for that one. Growing up, one local radio station would play this song in its entirety, every Thanksgiving, and only on Thanksgiving.
